The Untamed Spirits images are completely unique and one-of-a-kind in their artistic interpretation. To truly capture the speed of rodeo action, Susann's trademark photographs blur backgrounds into a paintbrush series' of lines leaving the viewer with a rare glimpse of beauty, speed and strength held in suspended motion.

The Untamed Spirits series of award-winning images were photographed primarily at the 75th Livingston Roundup in 1998, at the 76th Roundup in 1999 and the 77th Roundup in 2000. One of three "Gateway Rodeos" held in Livingston and Red Lodge, Montana and Cody, Wyoming; the Roundup has been held annually each July 2nd, 3rd and 4th since 1923.

It is known as Montana's Best Rodeo.
